We will be crafting spells straight from the story!

Blend your own tea - choose from Courage Tea, Clairvoyant Tea or Frustration Tea - Owens Family Recipes!

The Verbena Botanical Elixir Bar will be serving up magic potions for manifestation as well! Blend and bottle 2 bottles of your own spells for love, courage, prosperity, healing and more!

A fully stocked Spell Bar will be provided as well for you to mix and match enchanting herbs, stones, amulets and more. Includes spell candle for sealing your spell at home.

In Bloom at Calgo will be providing Magical Herbs Bundles straight from the gardens and I will provide you with all of the info you need to use them (keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for good luck……….)

Grab a slice of The Aunts Black Soap used to “heal complexions, wash away sorrows, and keep skin remarkably youthful”

Then carry it all home in a story-inspired witchy tote bag!!

Delicious food will be provided by Heidi of Tulip Tree Cafe

Midnight Margarita mocktails will be provided as well - feel free to BYOB to spice it up!

Join me in creating a world of botanical color in this immersive Art & Alchemy workshop. Together, we will explore the ancient art of transforming flowers, botanicals, and natural minerals into handcrafted watercolor paints.

Learn how pigments are gathered, blended, and bound to create your own luminous paints inspired by the beauty of the natural world. From delicate floral hues to rich earthy tones, you'll discover the alchemy behind turning nature into art.

Each participant will create a collection of custom watercolor paints and fill beautiful organic palettes using natural wood slices and seashells—perfect for storing and displaying your handmade colors at home.

Whether you are an experienced artist or have never picked up a paintbrush, this workshop invites you to slow down, connect with the seasons, and experience the joy of creating with the gifts of the earth.

I find working with my hands and the plants so healing for my soul. It has lifted me from the depths of grief many times.

All materials are provided, and each guest will leave with handcrafted botanical watercolor palettes, inspiration, a bit of magic, and the knowledge to continue making your own paints at home!

The mermaids will begin gathering between 10–11am on Monday, September 14, 2026. We’ll stay until “regular” life calls us home — school pick-ups, appointments, responsibilities and all those very un-mermaid things. Asbury Park Beach - enter at the beach entrance closest to Convention Hall (south side by Robinsons Ale House)… then just keep going until you reach the sea. You’ll find the mermaids there. With just ten guests, this gathering is intentionally intimate, allowing space for meaningful conversation, quiet moments, creativity, and genuine connection.

This is an evening dedicated to nourishing the body and spirit.

Each participant will receive a personalized mini tarot reading designed to uncover the energies asking for attention, healing, or balance.

From there, your reading will guide us toward the chakra that may need nurturing most.

Then, step into the apothecary experience — where together we will hand blend a custom loose-leaf tea crafted to support your unique energetic needs using herbs, flowers, and roots chosen with intention.

While you wait for your reading you will spend some time blending your very own beautiful intention oil as well. Choose from dozens of organic scents, and an array of oils.
